Our Store Manager, reporting to the Managing Director, is responsible for all operations of OnTheList flash sale store. Working with new exciting brands every week, it requires competency in strategic thinking, agility, customer focus, change and innovation, relationship building, as well as talent management of our strong retail team.

We are looking for a leader, a strong communicator with an analytical mindset, able to be pragmatic in tackling hands-on tasks as well as capable of having a strategic view to guide the team.

High level of organization and planning, proactive and able to adhere to time-sensitive planning and operations, able to motivate and lead a team of people.

Our business model comes with occasional but sudden requirements; hence, agility and problem-solving are crucial.

WHAT WE WILL TRUST YOU WITH

  1. Lead our Hong Kong retail team by motivating, guiding, and grooming.
  2. Strong management skills with a proven track record to manage a team of over 15+ retail staff.
  3. Ability to liaise with our Brand Partners, understand their requirements, and work with our team to implement them.
  4. Ensure that all customers and members receive a high standard of service, and monitor the NPS for in-store sales.
  5. Analyze sales data and strategize retail strategy to drive results.
  6. Experience with Visual Merchandising to enhance sales given the fast turnaround of our flash sales.
  7. Learn, review and enhance our SOPs.
  8. Be the bridge between the retail team and other departments.
  9. Onboard and retain effective full-time & part-time operational teams. Make weekly staffing adjustments (15 to 40 part-time staff).
  10. Actively work with HR on recruitment of new team members and the management of the part-time staff pool.
  11. Work closely with the Assistant Store Managers to ensure that the business objectives are met.
  12. Promote a positive culture, mindset, and encourage ideas and growth.

WHAT IT TAKES

  1. Form 5 and above, minimum 8 years of retail sales experience with 5 years of management of 10+ staff.
  2. Possess excellent communication and analytical skills.
  3. Self-motivated, mature, and a good team player.
  4. Good command of spoken and written English. Mandarin and Cantonese are a plus.
  5. Good PC skills such as MS Office and specifically literate in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  6. Strong logical mindset, high-energy self-starter with a relentless, entrepreneurial work ethic.
  7. Exceptionally organized, with time management and multitasking skills.
