What we are looking for Under the supervision of the Manager, Client Experience and Account Services, the Specialist will build and maintain strong relationships with professionals across the broader Client Service and Investment Operations departments and with external transition managers, prime brokers, custodians, counterparties, system vendors and fund administrators. The ideal candidate will work with very tight deadlines, demonstrating analytical problem‑solving skills in a complex setting. The role requires a fast‑paced operational orientation, innovation, flexibility, and active participation in enhancing and streamlining departmental controls. Your responsibilities Align, participate and contribute to firm goals and objectives, including technology and operational transformation. Analyze, plan and execute tasks related to asset transfers, account openings, closures and restructurings, coordinating with internal and external parties. Coordinate with custodians for pooled fund account openings and documentation. Monitor data integrity and accuracy of internal systems (SS&C PACER, CASHMAN, EAGLE). Set up system users, monitor batches, file uploads and execute daily jobs, advising stakeholders of issues. Execute daily cash management and reconciliation controls. Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc reporting for internal and external clients. Collaborate with Portfolio Administration and Trade Unit teams to streamline processes, act as escalation point. Maintain and support databases and systems used by the department. Assist in reviewing existing controls and updating procedures. Execute special assignments and projects as required. Assist the Manager with administrative tasks as needed. Create innovative solutions to improve processes and procedures. Identify opportunities to enhance industry best practices. Participate in improvement initiatives related to trading and administration of Fiera Capital strategies. Develop close relationships with external intermediaries to integrate client reporting. Participate in cross‑functional teams to ensure integration tasks are completed. Must Have Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related field. Canadian Securities Course (asset). Minimum 2–3 years experience in investment management, preferably in account onboarding, asset transfers, and investment manager operations. Strong knowledge of investment management and fund administration. Strong analytical skills for problem resolution. Organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities. Results‑oriented and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and client‑servicing skills. Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment. Discretion and diligence in handling confidential information. Excellent MS Office knowledge. Bilingualism (French and English), spoken and written. Additional Information Hybrid working environment: four days in‑office per week. For positions in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in French, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
