Join Shoppers Drug Mart as a Beauty Boutique Expert in a locally owned, community‑focused store. This role is key to delivering health, beauty, and convenience services while putting the customer at the centre of everything you do. Why this role is important? To maximize sales of beauty products and services and enhance customer experience. Duties & Responsibilities Meet sales expectations. Maximise sales and awareness of promotional programs. Promote beauty product sales and encourage participation in the PC Optimum program. Maintain a “selling is fun” attitude. Promote a positive environment for customers and coworkers. Actively model desired behaviour with eClienteling to provide superior customer service. Promote products through marketing and encourage use of the PC Optimum program. Actively promote and book appointments for in‑store events. Exhibit and promote the company’s products and services. Attend appropriate vendor schools and workshop/education sessions. Adhere to Cosmetics Operating Standards. Comply with all health and safety regulations, store policies and procedures, and loss‑prevention policies. Act professionally at all times. Perform other duties as required. Customer Service Promote a positive environment for customers and coworkers. Always put the customer first and provide superior customer service. Act professionally at all times. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Strong planning, judgment, and decision‑making skills. Independent thinking and decisions. Selling skills in cosmetics/luxury goods. Experience Proven consultative skills to provide information. Sales experience with a proven track record. Good knowledge of various beauty products and services available. Ability to conduct sit‑down makeup and skincare consultations and demonstrate application. Strong communication skills. Previous beauty department experience required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladder. Ability to bend and stretch to stock shelves.
