Using industry software, they create plans, drawings, and specifications, perform engineering calculations, and assist with equipment selection. Reporting to the Design Manager and/or Engineer, they utilize their design and communication skills to meet project milestones. The role involves primarily computer-based design work, site visits, and mandatory health & safety training, including security clearances if necessary.Qualifications:Completion of a 2- or 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or relevant post-secondary education.3-5 years of relevant experience in an engineering consulting environment.Experience in industrial, commercial, and residential building design is an asset.Proficient with Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD, and Carrier HAP.Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including the Ontario Building Code.Gerrits Engineering Limited welcomes applications from people with disabilities and provides accommodations upon request during the selection process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
