This role will serve as a key liaison for the Production team and is responsible for a wide range of HR activities including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, performance management, compliance training, and HRIS maintenance.Reports To: Director of HR, North AmericaEssential FunctionsServe as the primary HR contact with our Production teams advising on workforce planning, organizational priorities and operational challengesResponsible for supporting talent development and leadership coaching and support for the Production teamsSupport strategic initiatives and leadership development across our Production teamsProduction SupportPartner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talentManage full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, including job postings, interviews, offers and onboardingOwn the requisition submission process and follow-up with recruiting and hiring managers on approvals and trackingWork with department leaders to design thorough onboarding plansEmployee RelationsCoordinate and assist with training programs for safety, compliance, IT and skill developmentSupport succession planning initiatives to ensure a pipeline of talent for key positionsTraining & DevelopmentAdminister payroll processes accurately and on time; ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulationsAssist with benefit enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries; liaise with benefit providers as neededPayroll/Benefit AdministrationCoordinate and ensure completion of performance reviews by all leaders and prepare HR metrics/reportsGuide leaders on performance related and attendance related issuesPerformance ManagementEngagement survey administration and action planningWork with departmental leaders on the development and implementation of action plansEmployee EngagementDiversity & Inclusion: Contribute to D&I initiatives and activitiesData Analysis and ReportingUtilize HR metrics and analytics to drive decision-making and identify trends related to employee engagement, turnover and performanceEducation and/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in an HR role within a manufacturing environmentCHRP designation (or working towards) is an assetQualificationsStrong knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation in OntarioExperience with payroll processing and HRIS systems (ADP and/or Workday preferred)Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to analyze HR data and prepare reportsProven ability to manage multiple HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, and benefitsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organizationExperience with continuous improvement environmentsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionStrong organizational skills and attention to detailPhysical Demands and Environmental FactorsPrimarily an office-based role with prolonged periods of computer useMay require occasional travel to other sites or training locationsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalismIf you are an individual with a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to complete any part of the application process, please let us know. #J-18808-Ljbffr
