Summary – About the Opportunity In this newly created position, the Manager, Total Compensation is responsible for the critical functions of developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent in the competitive mining industry. This role is the steward of the full stack Total Compensation eco‑system for the organization. Under the direction of the Vice President, Human Resources, this hands‑on role provides both strategic thinking and operational expertise to oversee all aspects of our total rewards programs, including short‑term incentives (STIP), long‑term incentives (LTIP), Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), benefits administration, compensation management, production bonus and employee recognition programs. This position is responsible for managing complex compensation structures while providing strategic oversight and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across the operations of the organization. It is also responsible for understanding the compensation landscape and monitoring the organization’s competitive position in the market, identifying emerging trends and risks, providing leadership to relevant HR projects, and acting as a liaison to the senior leadership and HR teams.
