Developing Investment Advisor - Oakville, Burlington & Hamilton TD Securities is seeking a Developing Investment Advisor to provide high‑net‑worth clients with holistic wealth advice and solutions in Oakville, Burlington, and Hamilton. Work Location: Oakville, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 hours per week Line Of Business: TD Wealth Pay Details: $50,000 - $100,000 CAD (base salary; commission based earnings available) Job Description: TD Wealth, Private Wealth Management (PWM) offers high‑net‑worth clients personalized wealth management services. In this role you will build a client base, develop comprehensive investment strategies, and implement business plans to grow your practice. Accountabilities Build a client base of HNW & UHNW clients, families, and business owners Develop comprehensive wealth management and investment strategies for clients based on their needs Make recommendations on portfolio construction, security selection, monitoring, and rebalancing Execute a business plan focused on building client base and market share through prospecting, marketing and developing a pipeline of potential clients and referral sources Develop and implement sales strategies to attract, acquire and retain customers and referrals, increasing profitability and enabling business growth Take a OneTD approach by establishing beneficial relationships between clients and TD Partners to provide goal‑based wealth advice across a full range of product and service solutions Protect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks effectively What Your Profile Looks Like Undergraduate Degree in finance, business, economics or related discipline Currently licensed as a Registered Representative with CIRO Professional designations such as CFP, CIM and/or CFA are considered assets 3+ years of experience in a client‑facing, sales or relationship‑focused role, ideally in a mutual fund or brokerage environment Deep knowledge of the investment landscape, markets, and portfolio management Curiosity and desire to stay on top of the latest trends and be a thought leader in your field Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven entrepreneurial experience and ability to prospect and manage client relationships Comfort with compliance requirements and commitment to ethical client service Life Insurance License (LLQP) must be obtained within 6 months of hire Additional Information Open to candidates in the Oakville, Burlington, and Hamilton markets Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Finance and Sales Industries: Investment Banking #J-18808-Ljbffr
