Catalent is committed to a Patient First culture through excellence in quality and compliance, and to the safety of every patient, consumer and Catalent employee.This is a full-time salary position: Monday – Friday, onsite out of Strathroy or Windsor, ON, Canada.The Plant Controller will report to the Director of Finance, and is accountable for effectively controlling, reporting and analyzing the financial and statistical information regarding the company’s Strathroy operations on a timely and accurate basis. The Plant Controller is also accountable to develop and maintain appropriate internal control systems and procedures that safeguard the assets of the Company.Catalent is committed to a Patient First culture through excellence in quality andcompliance, and to the safety of every patient, consumer, and Catalent employeeThe Role:Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions, including hiring, training and retaining competent accounting staffManage the accumulation of all financial and statistical data necessary for an accurate accounting of business resultsCoordinate and prepare internal financial statements. Provide management with management reports that support decision making ex. Direct Labour variance, Material usage, Scrap, departmental spending Purchase Price Variance “PPV”, overhead analysisPrepare and manage the annual budget as well as the monthly forecastsAssess current accounting and internal control processes, develop recommendations for improvement and monitor on going performanceLiaise with external auditors and lead financial audits.
