CPC Pumps specializes in designing, manufacturing, testing, and servicing engineered heavy-duty process centrifugal pumps (fully API 610 compliant) for industries such as CCUS, Green Energy / Circular Economy, H2, LNG, Chem-Petrochem, and power generation since 1957.CPC Pumps is seeking a talented professional to join our team as Engineering Designer (CFD Analyst).PurposeThe Engineering Designer (CFD Analyst) is responsible for:Performing CFD analysis on centrifugal pumps to analyze and improve performanceConducting acoustic analysis of multistage pumpsPerforming NPSHr analysis of impeller and pump designsDesigning centrifugal pump impellers, volutes, and diffusersCompleting pattern drawingsGenerating performance curvesReviewing pump selectionsCalculating chamber pressure and thrustCalculating maximum allowable working pressureDuties and ResponsibilitiesPerform CFD on centrifugal pumps, including performance and NPSH, to verify hydraulic design and identify improvement areasInterpret CFD results and recommend design improvementsIdentify and implement new or improved design standards and procedural documentsCollaborate with other engineers to investigate and resolve design or quality issues, record findings, and develop cost-effective solutionsQualificationsProficiency in engineering software such as Pumplinx, ANSYS CFX, SolidWorks, AutoCADStrong knowledge of fluid dynamics and mechanical engineeringExperience with rotating equipment and centrifugal pump designKnowledge of API, HI, ASME, and ASTM standardsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of ANSYS Fluent is an assetEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree or higher is a plusPhysical DemandsOffice-based work involving sedentary activity and repetitive motionsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with high workloadReasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilitiesMust adhere to all safety policies and procedures.CPC Pumps International Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
