What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Underwrite and manage a book consisting of snow removal and roofing contractors
  2. Meet premium and bind ratio targets while maintaining a disciplined underwriting approach

  4. Collaborate with leadership on growth and profitability strategies for the new program
  5. Develop and strengthen relationships with brokers, acting as a trusted partner in the marketplace

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. 10+ years of commercial underwriting experience specializing in snow removal and/or roofing risks
  2. CIP, CRM, or FCIP designation would be an asset
  3. Experience working with an MGA or program-specific division of an insurance company
  4. Proven ability to build relationships with markets and brokers
  5. Demonstrated track record of achieving premium and bind ratio targets

  2. Familiarity with underwriting guidelines, wordings, endorsements, and exclusions
