Site Visit & Reallocation Allowance Programs: Site Visit Program; Relocation Program

The Department of Health & Wellness offers competitive incentive programs to help you choose a practice that suits your career goals and help transition into your new life in Nova Scotia. There is currently one part-time physician, a family practice nurse, two nurse practitioners, an RN (privately employed by physician), and a social worker (one day/week) along with an in-house full-service retail pharmacy and Atlantic Canada's most comprehensive vein and laser clinic. The electronic medical record (EMR) is Med Access. Some minor procedures are performed on-site, while more significant procedures can be performed at nearby Valley Regional Hospital, Western King Memorial Health Centre, or Eastern Kings Community Health Centre.
