Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Company: DSV – Global Transport and Logistics Location: Vancouver, Canada – Melville St Employment Type: Full Time Seniority Level: Entry Level Job Summary The primary function of the Logistic Coordinator Warehouse Operations is to prepare outbound orders for the warehouse, update the warehouse system with all goods received, and ensure invoicing of monthly recurring storage and accessorial charges. Key Duties and Responsibilities Answer, screen and resolve all client issues and manage all incoming queries. Track and verify truck locations prior to delivery. Communicate with customers, dispatchers and drivers regarding delays, issues, and updates. Manage all customer orders in the warehouse system. Verify product information including case counts, temperature readings and pallet counts on active loads. Accounting support including filing, scanning, and photocopying. Safety support including daily electronic log audits. Qualifications Education and Experience Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehousing environment. Minimum high school education required. Dangerous Goods Certification is an asset. Skills and Competencies Good command of English (both verbal and written). Ability to create collaborative engagements and active listening. Strong interpersonal skills; building professional relationships internally and externally. Good problem‑solving and analytical skills. Ability to multi‑task, plan, prioritize and manage time effectively to meet goals. Team builder and team player. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Act as a role model for DSV values and adhere to the Code of Conduct. Language and Computer Skills English is the principal language; additional languages may be required. Effective communication in a diverse multicultural environment. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Warehouse Management Software (WMS). Physical Demands Regular working hours; may require overtime based on business needs. Must wear safety shoes and safety vest. Ability to lift, push, and carry 25‑50 lbs.
