Our client is looking for a subject matter expert (SME) in support of their RedPrairie WMS logistics and warehousing software for an upcoming project.

Responsibilities
  1. Research and recommend technology to improve the current system and operations
  2. RedPrairie WMS subject matter expert (SME) with basic knowledge of other disciplines/specialty areas (Oracle/JDA Software)
  3. Integrate industry experience and professional/technical knowledge
  4. Solve unique problems through evaluative judgment/precedent
  5. Independently apply sophisticated analysis in evaluating issues
  6. Recognize/pursue alternative methods
  7. Exercise latitude in determining objectives/approaches to issues resolution
  8. Lead multiple small to medium sized projects and technical breadth
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor of Science degree/technical college diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
  2. 3-5 years of experience as a functional/software SME with RedPrairie
  3. 3-5 years of software implementation experience
  4. Experience with Java and Java related technologies beneficial
  5. Strong SQL skills an asset
  6. Experience in third party logistics services – shipping, warehousing and distribution is an asset
  7. Hands-on experience in disciplines such as supply chain and finance an asset

This is a 6 month contract role located in Mississauga, ON or Montreal, QC.
