Your Opportunity Alberta Health Services (AHS) is seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our team as Manager within Diagnostic Imaging (DI) at the Chinook Regional Hospital located in Lethbridge. Reporting to the South Zone DI Director, this role provides leadership in the operation and delivery of imaging services while working collaboratively with DI management teams, site leadership, community partners, and provincial imaging committees. A key focus will be fostering a healthy, engaged, and respectful work environment that supports professional and ancillary staff in delivering safe, high-quality care. Description As Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of professionals, manage budgets and resources, and implement process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and imaging service quality. You’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders, champion quality initiatives, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Success in this role will require leading with empathy and accountability, building strong relationships across teams and stakeholders, and using data and evidence to guide decisions that enhance patient satisfaction, quality of care, and overall system efficiency. Eligible or currently registered with applicable professional associations in Alberta. Progressive leadership experience within a complex health care organization, including experience in a supervisory or management role in Diagnostic Imaging operations. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development, including leadership experience. Demonstrates optimism and enthusiasm about the program with commitment to continuous quality improvement. Demonstrates managerial competencies that include excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, problem solving, conflict resolution, critical and analytical thinking, interpersonal and group management skills, change management and project management. Preferred Qualifications Completion of management and leadership courses related to imaging services in service planning, workflow, budget, technology, communication, research, education, policies, and procedures.
