Marketing and Operations Coordinator (Vancouver, BC) 10 August 2025 At Help Texts Canada, we deliver clinically sound, powerfully simple, text support to people facing life challenges — grief, caregiving, burnout, and more — in 28 languages, 59 countries, all 10 Canadian provinces, and all 50 U.S. states. We have an exciting, entry‑level position open for an ambitious, hard‑working Marketing and Operations Coordinator who likes variety, learning new skills, and making sure that nothing falls through the cracks. In this junior role you'll get regular face time with our CEO, the opportunity to contribute to all parts of our business as we grow, and lots of evidence, every day, that you're doing work that matters. Location: Vancouver, British Columbia (and area) Type: Full‑time, remote Eligibility: 15-30 years of age, and being a Canadian citizen and/or permanent resident This position is funded through the Youth Employment Program, which is part of the Government of Canada’s Youth Employment and Skills Strategy Program (YESS). Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of the program, including being 15-30 years of age. Our Marketing and Operations Coordinator will develop and execute content across all channels, jump into client and training calls, manage our affiliate marketing program, and work cross‑functionally with our sales, client support, and engineering teams to drive campaigns, boost engagement, build community, organize weekly to‑do lists, and keep us organized as we grow. You'll be happy at Help Texts if you: Are a fast learner who’s comfortable wearing lots of hats. Can figure things out without a step‑by‑step guide. Take pride in finishing what you start — without needing someone to chase you. Can move from big‑picture ideas to tiny detail checking without breaking a sweat. Find data interesting and would like to get good at monitoring customer acquisition costs and measuring engagement across platforms. Would enjoy being part of our sales processes, booking calls and helping to prepare decks and proposals. Requirements: University degree Active on social media channels Comfortable with tech tools and platforms (eg, Google Suite, Canva, Hubspot, Loomly) Strong organization and prioritization skills. Ambitious with a strong work ethic Canadian citizen and resident Ability to meet IRL with our CEO in Vancouver, twice a month Lived experience with grief and loss. An academic background in social work, psychology, marketing, or similar. Experience in customer support, marketing, operations, or sales.
