About the role: The Cyber Threat and Fusion Intelligence Analyst, as part of the Fusion Intelligence and Crisis Management team, provides analysis and reporting services that allow us to understand, mitigate and neutralize threats, in support of businesses/groups and BMO overall. The main areas covered are Cyber Security, Physical Security and Fraud. The analyst will disseminate intelligence and create documents and presentations to inform, advise, or update internal stakeholders. They will also conduct thorough research activities to identify vulnerabilities, threats and risks, and be responsible for the collection, processing, and analysis of information from a variety of data sources to deliver timely, relevant, and insightful decision‑making oriented intelligence analysis to BMO stakeholders. This is a HYBRID role What will you do: Own the creation and delivery of recurring intelligence products and briefs to support a wide range of BMO stakeholders. Provide tailored ad hoc intelligence analysis support for leadership requests for information during steady state and crisis conditions. Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations. Collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Write, edit, and review intelligence for operational and senior bank stakeholders to reduce residual risk. Stay abreast of industry trends/risks related to information security, technology and business trends/risks through participation in professional associations, practice communities, and individual learning. Skills required: 2–4 years of experience in an Intelligence Analyst or Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst role. Systems or a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Exceptional research, briefing, analysis and writing skills, preferably in intelligence or security related domains. Ability to connect analysis to commercial impact, such as impacts to revenue, reputation, operations, or strategy. Ability to understand how business units make decisions, so intelligence is positioned to influence outcomes, not merely inform them. Ability to build stakeholder relationships across functions, aligning intelligence with business priorities throughout the enterprise. Familiarity with Fusion Intelligence and cyber security. Knowledge/experience with the intelligence cycle, particularly within a private sector environment, is an asset. Security certifications from a well‑recognized institution (e.g., (ISC)², ISACA, SANS) are welcome. Post‑secondary degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Salary : $67,200.00 - $124,200.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position. BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance‑based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other perks and rewards.
