Location: 850- 14th Ave., Campbell River, BC, V9W 4H4 Benefits: Full time positions available. Full health and dental after 3 months. Health and dental benefits for full time candidatesPosition Summary: - Performs assessments, plans, implements and provides personal and nursing care to residents.- Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.- Direct supervision of care staff to meet resident's needs.- Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program- Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC- Current CPR and First Aid certification- Excellent written and oral communication- Knowledge and background in Dementia care strong asset- Desire to continually stay educated in relevant areas of long-term care and nursing a big asset.The successful applicant for this job posting must provide satisfactory proof, or have such proof on file, that they have received the COVID-19 vaccination and any required COVID-19 booster vaccination. This requirement shall be waived if the applicant has not received the vaccination due to any legislated protected human rights grounds. In such a case, and upon presentation of sufficient proof, CareCorp shall make reasonable attempts to accommodate the applicant to carry out their role where possible recognizing that the health and safety of other employees and residents will be a priority.
