Join to apply for the MEDICAL DEVICE REPROCESSING TECHNICIAN role at Northern Health - BC We are currently looking for a hard‑working and dedicated Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to fill a Casual position at the Dawson Creek & District Hospital. In accordance with established mission, vision, values and strategic priorities of Northern Health, this position performs a series of detailed technical duties related to decontamination, sterilization, reassembly, function testing and distribution of medical and/or surgical supplies and instruments for various areas of the hospital; and performs related clerical duties and record keeping. Responsibilities Decontamination and sterilization of medical instruments. Reassembly of instrument sets. Function testing to ensure safety and efficacy. Distribution of cleaned instruments to clinical departments. Maintain accurate records and perform related clerical duties. Qualifications Registration number (if you are part of a regulated profession). Supporting documents regarding education/qualifications for this position.
