In this position, you will bring your extensive experience to the forefront by supporting:Risk Based Inspections (RBI)Quality Assurance & ControlPressure Equipment EngineeringReview and approval of equipment installations, repairs, and alterationsManagement of Change ProcessThis role involves acting as a Subject Matter Expert for the Management of Change involving fixed assets (Tanks, Pressure Equipment, and piping systems).You will interface closely with Canfor Pulp Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams, where your demonstrated leadership and ability to influence without authority will be key. You will also share your expertise and mentor those early in their engineering careers.RBI ResponsibilitiesEnsure the integrity of the RBI database and IOWsPerform annual RBI auditsAssist in developing inspection plans for static equipmentReview plant changes for RBI complianceParticipate in Plant Change AuditsConduct RBI training for employeesReview major maintenance and capital budget proposalsDevelop preventive maintenance plans for static equipmentRecommend repairs based on degradation historyCollaborate with NDE companies to improve inspection techniquesQA/QC ResponsibilitiesMaintain the QA/QC manualApprove pressure equipment installations and repairsEnsure compliance with QA/QC requirementsTrain technical personnel (welders, pipefitters, inspectors, engineers, NDE)Support inspection technology developmentDevelop and communicate engineering standardsLead welding inspectionsLiaise with BCSA boiler and gas branchThe salary range for this position is: $107,500 to $119,500.Note: The salary range is for base salary only.
