Preferred candidate is based in Toronto Area or Montreal.What you can expect from us:Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits designed to fit your unique needsA dynamic and inclusive culture that promotes you to bring your whole-self to workInspiring positive change for people and the planet with sustainability goalsA supportive team that will encourage your professional growth and developmentResponsibilitiesPrimary Point of Contact for technical expertise for assigned locations - own the responsibility for pulling in the right resources across the COEs, Engineering and OEMs to solve field teams problemsProvide timely support to Plants to accelerate the restoring of manufacturing lines to full operational capacity following unplanned downtime events. Ie. major failure/downtime/defectProvide coaching and mentoring to maintenance managers and supervisorsPartner with Reliability team as needed to Implement system processes to improve line reliability across the organizationWork in partnership with plants to resolve chronic failures, defects or capability gaps that need longer-term strategy to address and collaborate with appropriate teams to incorporate into strategic plansPartner to develop strong relationships with our most critical OEMsPartner cross functionally to develop in-year strategies, capital, and productivity plans.Support transformation and capital project implementation as neededEnsure team compliance with all safety policies and procedures.Optimize operational efficiencies to support the production of our products.Track operational output measures (i.e. efficiency, cost) anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targetsDeliver effective change leadership to drive business changes while minimizing people impactCommunicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issuesManager role may require off-shift and weekend work and significant travel (up to 50%) with occasional travel to the United StatesQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, or similar fieldMinimum 10 years’ experience in manufacturing preferred. Preferably food/beverage experienceLean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.You should possess strong skills, knowledge and capability in TPM or lean manufacturing, finance and accounting, project management, leadership, and statistics/logical problem solving.Proficient in Microsoft Suite applicationsAbility to give and receive constructive feedbackProven ability to thrive in a results-oriented, meaningful environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to encourage and get results through mentoring othersProven ability to coach, facilitate, and inspire team building skillsFrench considered an assetMust have a valid driver’s licenseWhy work at PepsiCo:At PepsiCo, you’re invited to be a part of a global team of innovators who make, move, and sell these products—which are enjoyed by more than 1 billion people a day.
