Senior Experience Designer, Visual Craft & UI at EA SPORTS FC

EA SPORTS is one of the most iconic brands in entertainment – connecting hundreds of millions around the world to sports. We believe our future is to build joyful experiences and push the boundaries of our games.

After nearly 30 years of creating genre-defining, interactive football experiences with the world's largest football entertainment platform, EA SPORTS FIFA, we rebranded to EA SPORTS FC. This marks the future of football from EA SPORTS as we strive to take global football experiences to new heights on behalf of football fans everywhere.

WHAT WE DO?

You will work closely with the experience design team, game design and our partners to create experiences that surprise, delight and inspire millions of players around the world to play.

YOUR ROLE:
  • Take ownership of design features autonomously to deliver all phases of production from concept to completion (e.g. layouts, information organization, typography, color theory).
  • Leverage and evolve an established FC Design System and Visual Identity when crafting visual and interactive solutions.
  • Find opportunities to improve implementation standards, innovation of experiences and collaborative workflows.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships across disciplines such as Game Design, production and engineering to help further develop the game experience and visual language.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate, rationalize, and empathize with user needs effectively.
  • Be a mentor and foster a culture of growth and education within the XD team while being a champion for UX UI within the organization.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • 5+ years of experience as a UI designer, interaction designer, product designer or similar role.
  • Proficient in Figma, Adobe Suite, and prototyping software.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric, data-driven, visually appealing, and functional designs.
  • Attention to detail and ability to create solutions in 2D.
  • Skilled in creating complex prototypes for player experience.
  • Proactive, outcome-oriented, and solution-driven.
  • Empathetic and collaborative team player.
  • Passion for playing games.
NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience with working and implementing designs into game engines like Unreal or proprietary engines.
  • Illustrative design skills such as iconography.
  • Experience with game design.
  • Knowledge of Football.

If this resonates with you and you have something to contribute, please contact us, even if you don't meet all of the criteria above.

*Please include a portfolio link and password if applicable. Also, please be prepared to show recent accomplishments/processes/case studies/projects.
