This is a new opportunity to become an accounting technician (accounts payable) and payroll technician in an organization that works in the field of addiction in downtown Montreal.


Examples of tasks
  1. Invoice tracking
  2. Data entry at checkout disbursed on FileMaker
  3. Issuing cheques
  4. Prepare the trial balance of the cash
  5. Input in Acomba
  6. Creation of paper files
  7. Computerized transaction registration
  8. Follow-up and transactions on salary changes
  9. Follow-up of probation endings, leaves of absence and vacation
  10. Updating the employee file, change of address, etc.
  11. Prepare background requests to the law firm
  12. Registration of files in group insurance
  13. Compilation of timesheets
  14. Prepare payroll on Nethris
  15. Entry in the salary journal
  16. Payment of union dues
  17. Monthly report of new hires and departures
  18. Purchase office supplies
  19. Petty cash management
  20. Prepare and make the deposit at the bank
  21. Assist the Director of Finance in the production of monthly financial statements
  22. Enter monthly adjusting entries
  23. Preparation of bank reconciliation
  24. Prepare monthly statistics
  25. Prepare cheques for funds transfers

Requirements and Experience
  1. College diploma in accounting
  2. Excellent proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Quickbooks
  3. 2-5 years of experience
