We are committed to providing our people with a challenging and rewarding career because our employees are what set us apart and we know it.Job InformationThe Outside Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling CAC Industrial services to meet sales targets and generate revenue. Responds to customer needs and requirements with the appropriate CAC Industrial service. Maintains a high‑level of customer service with existing customers and leverages relationships to expand business. Develops relationships with new clients by prospecting and responding to business development leads. Monitors and reviews customer sales activity and makes adjustments to processes and strategies as needed. Develop new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales utilizing knowledge of core customers and FloWorks product line. Responsible to profitably grow sales to achieve yearly sales goals as a sales consultant for current core industries and emerging industries and markets; responsible for prospecting for new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and increasing opportunities with existing customer.Key ResponsibilitiesConducts on‑site customer visits with new and existing customers. Manages sales volume with an existing group of customers, prospects successfully to expand the customer baseForecasts, prospects, and bids for new business to include customers, markets, and additional service opportunitiesMaintains existing and builds new customer partnerships. Develops and sustains sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers on all levels of an organizationShares market and competitor information with all applicable channels within the organization; establishes relationships and working partnershipsPartners with customers, vendors, Credit, and A / R to quickly resolve customer service issuesIdentifies customer products needs and coordinates execution of ordersMay conduct negotiations with suppliers, vendors and manufacturersAssists in training or mentoring of associatesQualificationsPoint of sales (POS) system or consultative selling / solution selling experience is requiredKnowledge of customer business needsKnowledge in FloWorks product line and core customers2‑4 years of experience in related fieldPhysical DemandsFrequently required to standFrequently required to walkContinually required to sitContinually required to utilize hand and finger dexterityOccasionally balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawlContinually required to talk or hearContinually utilize visual acuity to read technical information and / or use a keyboardOccasionally required to lift / push / carry items up to 25 poundsOccasionally work near moving mechanical partsOccasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicalsOccasionally exposure to outside weather conditionsOccasionally loud noise (examples : shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment)Work EnvironmentThis role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used.
