You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while providing clients with a fully integrated and superior customer experience. The successful candidate can be based at any one of our following offices: any Ontario office, Calgary, or Winnipeg.We offer flexible work hours to help balance the competing demands of work and personal life.ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & InnovationMaintain deep technical expertise and stay current with industry trends within Structures Transportation.Develop and implement strategies to enhance the Discipline's technical skills.Drive the integration of new technologies to improve internal processes.Deliver significant innovation projects with supporting business case and success metrics.Encourage the use of new solutions and showcase successful efficiency improvements.People & Team DevelopmentLead and motivate a team of technical professionals, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.Support the growth and development of Team Managers.Promote a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.Build and maintain strong relationships with Project Managers, Business Units, and key industry contacts.Delivery & Operational ExcellenceMeet or exceed financial targets while ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction.Develop and implement operational standards, best practices, and quality control processes to mitigate risk.Proactively identify and manage health and safety risks.Actively solicit and act on client feedback to improve service delivery.Identify and pursue opportunities for organic business growth.Qualifications15 or more years of relevant experience.Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Canada, with extensive experience in civil engineering design and construction.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.A passion for innovation, an aptitude for leveraging technology and a commitment to continuous improvement.ExperienceProven leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.Deep understanding of the Canadian Transportation market, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities.Strong business development acumen, with a successful track record of identifying, pursuing, and winning new business opportunities in the market.Experience with various project delivery models (e.g., design-bid-build, design-build).Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.Why choose DillonDillon is powered by people who are technically proficient, passionate about socially important projects, and motivated to deliver superior, tangible results.
