Senior Landscape Architect

OverviewBBA is seeking a Senior Landscape Architecture Professional to join its Quebec team. As part of our growth and the integration of Synergis, a firm known for strong landscape architecture expertise, we are strengthening our ability to provide high-quality and fully integrated solutions to our clients.ResponsibilitiesPlan production: Analyze project needs, define objectives, develop timelines, set budgets and identify potential solutionsOrganize human and material resources: Define tasks, allocate workloads and identify the materials neededLead effectively: Ensure tasks are carried out, motivate the team, ensure clear communication and make necessary adjustmentsSupervise team members in an advisory role, set and monitor objectives and deadlines, take corrective action as needed, and provide feedback after project completionManage and coordinate projects (schedule, budget, quality, OHS, compliance with regulations and client requirements)Manage human resources (advisory role, involvement, training, qualification, performance assessment, discipline management, etc.)Train team members in landscape studies, human environments, visual assessments and integration of facilities into surrounding areasSupport department members in acquiring expertise in landscape studies and related areasSet objectives for team membersManage the team's material resourcesCommunicate and ensure compliance with corporate policies (HR, OHS and finance)Review design, construction plans and specifications before sending them to the clientReview reports, methodology, relevance of analysis and resultsFollow up with clients during project executionSign and seal project documents and send them to clientsMaintain strong client relationshipsQualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in landscape architectureOver 10 years of experience in similar positionsMember of the Association des architectes paysagistes du Québec (AAPQ)Expertise in urban, recreational and natural design as well as landscape and environmental impact assessmentsExcellent written and spoken communication skills (for public presentations, municipal hearings, BAPE, AEIC)Autonomy, versatility, creativity and initiativeStrong interest in environmental and social issuesProject management skills and ability to manage several projects at onceBilingual (English and French), both spoken and writtenKnowledge of the Microsoft Office SuiteTotal Rewards and BenefitsAnnual base salaryAnnual premium program for all regular employeesOnsite mobility premiumAccess to a time bankCellphone programA group insurance plan that starts on Day 1, including short-term and long-term disability insurance and a telemedicine programRetirement savings planAnnual vacation and sick leaveA premium through the Employee Referral programAbout BBABBA is one of Canada’s leading private consulting engineering firms, with over 45 years of experience serving the energy and natural resources industry.
