Job Overview

We are seeking a Joint Venture Offtake Specialist to join our Global Optimizer Development Department. The department's charter is to optimize crude allocation and the operations of global manufacturing facilities to maximize revenue, increase profitability, and capture international market opportunities.

You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with offtake/sales agreements for all refined products, representing Saudi Aramco in relevant offtaker discussions and meetings, and assuring a continuous and healthy relationship between Domestic Joint Ventures and Saudi Aramco as a products off-taker and feedstock supplier.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with Fuels Business Management, Law, Aramco Trading Company, and other concerned internal or external organizations to protect the company's rights as an off-taker and/or feedstock supplier.
  • Represent Aramco to propose new arrangements to the JV refinery and other off-takers that could protect Aramco's interests and/or improve operations and logistics.
  • Assure a continuous and healthy relationship between Domestic Joint Ventures and Saudi Aramco as an off-taker and/or feedstock supplier.
  • Connect and interact with Oil Supply Planning and Scheduling (OSPAS) operations coordination teams to execute the Kingdom demand fulfillment plan and DJV lifting schedules.
  • Monitor JV refineries' production plans, lifting programs, entitlements, allocation, and inventories to ensure optimum utilization and highest realization for the refinery and Saudi Aramco.
  • Interface with OSPAS coordination for operational implementation of changes to non-standard cargoes, imports, demands, and commercial implications.
  • Provide logistical and operational input to domestic pricing committee discussions.
Minimum Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Post-graduate education or equivalent experience in Master of Business Administration/Finance/Economics is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of refineries sales, planning, and operations.
  • 5-10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the oil and gas downstream business, including several years in the field as an offtake/sales/contracts specialist.
  • Experience in the downstream oil and gas industry, specifically refineries planning and sales, and the ability to understand and interpret commercial agreements.
