  • 11 years of experience coding in any one of the programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).
  • 11 years of experience with data analysis, customer-side web technologies, and project management.
  • 11 years of experience in operations management (i.e., process improvement, operational reviews, optimizing workflows, etc) or in a customer-customer facing role.
  • Experience leading strategic and large-scale initiatives/projects in a change-oriented, fast-paced environment, with an ability to present and partner effectively to drive impact.
About the job

gTech’s Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team enables product areas to effectively and efficiently scale their outsourced operations while managing risk. Our goal is to enable our businesses to make informed decisions to put the right talent in the right locations. Our partnership with teams across Google aims to provide an excellent user experience and minimizes administrative burden throughout the Extended Workforce process. We assist with Extended Workforce planning and strategy, and provide tools to support product areas in managing their Extended Workforce infrastructure. We strike a balance between optimizing extended workforce engagements and making sure Extended Workforce policies and guidelines are followed.

The Solutions Delivery team makes it easy for Google managers to engage with the contingent workforce, providing training, standards, and guidelines to minimize Google’s risk and offering data and insights on planning and strategy for new and existing engagements. We provide processes, tools, and know-how to support Googlers through the lifecycle of contingent workforce engagements, so our businesses can make informed decisions to put the right talent in the right locations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of an integrated roadmap, translating the business strategy into a technical delivery plan by understanding the strategic business needs and defining solutions for those needs. Determine gaps in existing systems, architecture, and solutions, and build plans to solve them.
  • Work with technical development teams to develop the strategy and launch tools across various organizations.
  • Drive regular business and technology reviews between Extended Workforce Solutions and technology teams to ensure alignment on strategy, plans, and execution of key milestones.
  • Lead testing of products/solutions for customers/partners before release through different phases (e.g., internal testing, user acceptance testing).
  • Lead efforts to transform infrastructure including surfacing requirements, setting timelines, leading sprints and pilots, and managing change with local partners.
