Senior Analyst FP&A

As a Senior Analyst FP&A, you will perform your core responsibilities including regular monthly closing, reporting, and analysis, as well as forecasting short, medium, and long-term planning cycles.
You can be located in either the US or the UK; if in the UK, you will need the ability to visit the Stapeley office once per week.
You will be accountable for driving process improvement and simplification across the organization in data management and governance, standard reporting tools and adoption, and forecasting.
You will have in-depth knowledge and experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and influence across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Support regular/monthly cycles, including closing, reporting, and analysis of results, with an understanding of profit drivers such as volume, pricing, mix, FX, and cost optimization.
- Support quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and multiyear strategic planning.
- Drive simplification and standardization in data management, governance, reporting tools, and forecasting processes.
- Assist business leaders, including the Global FP&A Manager and ABS CFO, as needed.
- Apply best practices and knowledge to improve products or services.
- Solve complex problems with innovative solutions.
- Work independently with minimal guidance and act as a resource for colleagues.
- Lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, including prior FP&A experience.
- Understanding of profit and cost drivers in results and forecasts.
- Experience using systems to automate processes and drive adoption throughout the organization.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI or other similar ERP systems, and other business intelligence/analytical tools.
- Willingness to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally.
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom or United States without sponsorship.
Other preferred
- MBA and/or CPA certification preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing organization.
