Opportunity We are hiring a Manager, Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME) & Educational Design to join TMU’s School of Medicine. Reporting to the Senior Director, Clinical Education, this role leads, manages and administers the UGME and Educational Design portfolio, overseeing program planning, curriculum design and delivery, quality assurance, continuous improvement and alignment with accreditation standards and institutional priorities. The Manager also oversees program operations, staffing, budgeting and performance metrics to support learner success and program sustainability. Drives Vision & Results: Implements a vision grounded in sound decision‑making to achieve desired outcomes. Qualifications Master’s degree in higher education or related field is required. Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in academic program planning and administration. Minimum of three years experience working in a medical or health professional education environment. Equivalent experience or a combination of education and experience may be accepted in place of education. Experience building relationships with multi‑sectoral stakeholders. Superior conceptual, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to assess complex academic and operational issues and develop effective solutions. Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to prepare high‑quality reports and deliver clear, persuasive presentations to diverse audiences. In‑depth knowledge of adult learning principles and educational theory, including emerging trends in curriculum design and delivery at local, national and international levels. Demonstrated expertise in strategic program planning, implementation and evaluation within an academic environment. Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality. Strong organizational, time‑management and decision‑making skills for a fast‑paced environment. Creative, strategic, and innovative thinker. Demonstrates agility and effectiveness when working in a collaborative, dynamic team environment.
