This role is pivotal in bridging Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and other departments to solve manufacturing challenges, drive continuous improvement, and ensure seamless integration of new designs into production. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about process improvement, innovation, and supporting production teams, this could be the role for youResponsibilitiesLead manufacturing problem-solving initiatives on the production floor to improve safety, quality, and efficiencyAnalyze and enhance existing processes, focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity (SQDP)Proactively seek out issues, design countermeasures, and ensure implementationUtilize feedback from Quality Metrics to drive continuous improvementCollaborate with Production to implement manufacturability improvementsDesign, develop, and coordinate the production of jigs and fixturesLiaise with external contractors for outsourcing requirementsCreate and maintain work instructions in collaboration with key stakeholdersTrain operators on work instructions and standard work proceduresSupport the development of new manufacturing processes for product updates and designsCollaborate with Safety and Quality teams as neededPerform other responsibilities as assignedQualificationsBachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Process EngineeringMinimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing support or problem-solving rolesKnowledge of jig and fixture designExperience in a team-based problem-solving environmentKnowledge of electrical design (including PLCs) is an assetProficiency in MS Office SuiteExperience with CAD/CAM software (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, SigmaNEST) and design for manufacturability is an assetUnderstanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is an assetStrong communication (oral & written) and project management skillsSelf-motivated and proactiveCritical thinker with keen attention to detailCollaborative team player with a positive attitudeAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong sense of urgency and a data-driven approachBenefitsA competitive salary with bonus earning potential including a recruitment referral bonus.Health benefits including dental, extended health care, long and short-term disability coverage, accident and serious illness insurance, life insurance, and a health spending account.A group registered retirement savings plan that has a 4% matching, occupational vision care, employee, and family assistance programs along with a virtual walk-in clinic that provides unlimited healthcare for you and your family.Milestone and service awards at five-year increments.Access to CUBBI, a discounted food delivery service of fresh meals from local kitchens, and Sutton Smart Perks Discounts for services and discounts from local businesses.Career path and career longevity support by approved professional development opportunities and cost reimbursement, including association memberships. #J-18808-Ljbffr
