The Opportunity:

WSP is seeking a Co-op Engineering Student to join our Land Development & Municipal Engineering department for the Summer 2025 Term. Reporting to the Manager, Land Development and Municipal Engineering – Saskatchewan, this position will be responsible for supporting field and office services for land development projects for residential, commercial and industrial subdivisions, municipal design, and related roadway projects.

A day in the life:

  • Assist with field surveying using GPS and Total Station;
  • Assist with preparing reports;
  • Undertake field reviews and complete reporting;
  • Prepare and review drawings;
  • Site inspections and field work required;
  • Travel may be required to specific project locations in the Province;
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring to WSP:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's program (Civil Engineering or Environmental Systems Engineering) from an accredited post-secondary institution;
  • Interest in the design, contract administration, and project management of municipal engineering and land development projects;
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D;
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
