Posted Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 4:00 AM | Expires Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 3:59 AMPosition Summary:Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Planning & Performance, we are seeking a highly creative and commercially minded Graphic Designer to join our commercial team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the brand, trade marketing, and commercial teams to deliver compelling, on-brand visual communications that connect with our retail partners and consumers. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in digital design, presentation design (PowerPoint), and cross-functional support, ensuring consistency and impact across all visual touchpoints.Key Accountabilities:1. Creative Development & Design ExecutionDesign and produce print and digital assets including packaging concepts, sales materials, point-of-sale (POS), social media visuals, and internal communications;Develop visually engaging PowerPoint presentations for commercial teams and leadership, balancing corporate professionalism with brand personality;Support product launches and marketing campaigns with bold, clear, and effective visual storytelling.2. Brand & Trade SupportCollaborate with Brand Managers and Trade Marketing to execute brand strategies and shopper marketing initiatives across grocery, food service, and retail partners;Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure design consistency across all channels;Partner with Sales and Trade teams on retailer pitch decks, sell sheets, planograms, and customer-specific assets.Design and adapt creative assets for digital campaigns including emails, web banners, social media, and video thumbnails;Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop engaging content that enhances online brand presence.4. Internal CollaborationProvide graphic support to HR, Corporate Communications, and Operations on internal events, training materials, and employee engagement initiatives;Liaise with printers, suppliers, and digital vendors as needed for production and execution.Requirements:5+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally with a mix of agency and in-house exposure working in CPG or food industry;Understanding of retail marketing, CPG, or food industry trends is a strong asset;Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); w orking knowledge of motion graphics or video editing tools is a plus;Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Google Slides with a keen eye for layout, formatting, and brand storytelling;Demonstrated experience designing for both print and digital media;Proactive self-starter taking ownership of one's work;Collaborative team player taking initiative to drive projects forward independently;Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and a drive to deliver results;On-site role with 5 days/week in office.Portfolio is a must.#SMARKSofina Foods Inc. is committed to providing accessible employment practices that are in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (‘AODA’).
