Job TitlePipefitter Job Description Join our dynamic assembly team as a Pipefitter, specializing in the installation of pipe spools, bolt-ups, and socket welding of 1/2" - 2" pipe for modular gas process equipment. You will work on gas compression skid packages and modular units, performing tasks such as hydro testing, bolt-ups, and pipe fitting. Responsibilities Read and interpret P&IDs and engineered drawings. Install pipe spools and perform bolt-ups. Conduct socket welding and work with threaded piping. Essential Skills Journeyman pipefitter certification. Experience with compression and gas processing units, whether in assembly or field installation. Proficiency in socket welding and threaded piping. Experience with screw pipe and bolt-up procedures. Ability to work with 1/2" - 2" pipe. Capacity to work overtime hours. Ability to read drawings and P&IDs. Strong conflict management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated strong safety record. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a direct competitor\'s assembly shop. Ability to install even without small bolt experience. Why Work Here? Join a company that operates globally and values passionate people. Work Environment Work in a loud fabrication environment focusing on gas compression skids and modular units. You will be part of a team of approximately 50 pipefitters, working closely with a smaller group of 3-7 individuals depending on unit size. Shifts include a day shift from 6 am to 4:30 pm and a night shift from 5 pm to 3 am, with 15-minute breaks every two hours. Enjoy overtime pay with time and a half after 40 hours and double time after 56 hours. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, Alberta. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $47.55 - $52.55/hr. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Calgary,AB.
