Maplesoft Group is currently seeking an Associate Portfolio Manager for our Federal Government client.

Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Partners with Information Technology Portfolio Strategy and Planning Lead to coordinate strategic portfolio planning
  2. Partners with Information Technology Portfolio Strategy and Planning Lead to develop criteria for evaluation portfolio and proposals
  3. Establish reporting mechanisms (including Dashboards)
  4. Performs day to day portfolio activities
  5. Monitors progress, budgets, and schedules of initiatives and projects
  6. Establishes communication plan and calendar

Specific Project/Platform Requirements:

  1. Supports the Portfolio Strategy and Planning Lead to mature establish and mature strategic portfolio planning framework
  2. Supports to establish guiding principles and procedures for the portfolio

Skills:

Top Skills Required:

  1. Knowledge of portfolio management methodologies
  2. Ability to manage portfolio activities to meet goals
  3. Preferred project management professional (PMP) or portfolio management professional (PfMP) certification
  4. Entry Level Project/Portfolio Manager: Less than 3 years of experience

Other Skills Required:

  1. Agile Methodology

Assets:

  1. PowerBI and other reporting skills
  2. Planview Modules, Azure DevOps
  3. French
