Senior Project Coordinator

You will be responsible for completing a wide range of tasks, assisting operations staff in the implementation of agreed project plans, ensuring completion on time and within established parameters. Working independently or with limited supervision, you will apply knowledge and skills to resolve various issues and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to achieve team goals throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a strong safety culture on the project by actively participating in the implementation of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to ensure compliance with corporate safety manuals and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate the setup and maintenance of Ledcor systems and procedures at project start-up, including setting up project billing, cost accounting, and project directory.
  • Oversee project close-out by ensuring the preparation of warranty packages, turnover documents, and site demobilization.
  • Mentor team members in document control and recordkeeping functions.
  • Analyze project milestones and financial deadlines, and assess the impact of critical path. Develop and manage projects with minimal risk and resource requirements, or segments of larger projects.
  • Draft subcontractor agreements and manage subcontract changes, advising on invoice and progress claims.
  • Lead the change order process, analyze changes to drawings, assess impacts, and assist with contract negotiations.
  • Conduct quantity takeoffs, ensuring alignment with contract documents.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and scheduling software.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction documents, current practices, and methodologies.
  • Expertise in construction office processes, including project setup, subcontract management, change orders, RFIs, lien holdbacks, and closeout.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and guide team members effectively.
  • Clear communication skills, able to anticipate client needs and proactively resolve non-standard issues.
Work Environment:
  • This is a hybrid work position, requiring regular presence in the office.
Compensation:

$65,600 - $90,000 Annually

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, education, and location.
