As the Assistant Store Manager at Groovy Shoes, you’ll be the driving force behind our store’s success, responsible for achieving sales goals, leading a team, managing daily operations, and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Ensure that every customer receives the Groovy Shoes experience – friendly, knowledgeable, and personalized service. Visual Merchandising: Maintain high standards of visual presentation, ensuring the store is always fresh, organized, and aligned with brand guidelines. Operations: Handle daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with customers and the wider community to foster brand loyalty and drive repeat business. Qualifications 3 years minimum experience in a retail management role. Experience working in footwear and fashion is required. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills. A passion for sneakers and knowledge of current trends in the industry. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong problem‑solving abilities and a hands‑on approach to management. Why Groovy Shoes?
