You’ll assume a pivotal role in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a diverse range of rheumatic ailments, ensuring that patients receive the utmost quality of care. The current team of internists, who have been delivering rheumatology services to the community, will offer strong support to ensure a seamless transition and promote a cooperative working environment.
Conduct detailed patient assessments, including meticulous reviews of medical histories and thorough physical examinations, to formulate precise diagnoses.Interpret relevant diagnostic tests, such as imaging and laboratory analyses, to guide informed decision-making in diagnosis and treatment planning.As KBRH serves as a community training site for the UBC medical school, you’ll have a direct hand in shaping future rheumatologists as you mentor students and residents. You can effortlessly weave these enriching experiences into your schedule, ensuring a rewarding blend of professional growth and contribution to the field of medicine.
