We are seeking a skilled and compassionate rheumatologist to deliver expert care to individuals with various rheumatologic conditions at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital.

As a member of our dynamic healthcare team, you will assume a pivotal role in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a diverse range of rheumatic ailments, ensuring that patients receive the utmost quality of care.

The current team of internists, who have been delivering rheumatology services to the community, will offer strong support to ensure a seamless transition and promote a cooperative working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed patient assessments, including meticulous reviews of medical histories and thorough physical examinations, to formulate precise diagnoses.
  • Interpret relevant diagnostic tests, such as imaging and laboratory analyses, to guide informed decision-making in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Mentor students and residents as KBRH serves as a community training site for the UBC medical school.
