The project duration is 3 years

You must be available to work remotely 30-40 hours per week with availability Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm Pacific Standard Time. p>Project Context

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure plans transportation networks, provides transportation services, develops, and implements transportation policies, and administers many transportation-related acts and regulations. li>Builds highways to fulfil the economic and social needs of British Columbians;Maintains existing highways to a high standard through contracts with private sector road maintenance providers;Undertakes vehicle safety inspections and sets commercial vehicle operating standards;Works with partners and other levels of government to provide cost-effective public transit and coastal ferry services;Manages contracts for inland ferry operations; li>Licenses and regulates commercial passenger transportation.

Integrated Project Services (IPS) is a joint initiative led by the Ministry's Planning and Programming Branch and the Information Management Branch to transform the current Capital Program & Project Management services through a more modern and robust IPS Solution. p>The implementation methodology combines both traditional project management methods along with some concepts of the agile project management approach. Currently, the IPS project is in the midst of implementation, and is being led by a diverse, multi-faceted group of internal and external resources.The Management Consultant Level 2 role is intended to provide organizational change expertise, training expertise, communications expertise, leadership, and coordination as a core member of the implementation team. A key challenge with this implementation is the need for significant collaboration and organization between a wide range of business units and decision makers within the ministry.Due to the nature of the services requested, some in-person work will be required. While the services can be primarily conducted remotely, the proposed Consultant should be available to meet with MOTI staff and other stakeholders at offices in Victoria, BC at no additional cost to the Ministry.The Ministry seeks a Management Consultant Level 2 who is specifically skilled in leading Organizational Change Management, Training, and Communications activities in projects with the scope and scale of IPS.Leadership of teams in consensus building with members from across public sector organizations.Managing and creating working relationships within a complex policy environment.Change management and transition planning.Development of communications plans and training for large groups.Candidates will be required to provide one example of an organizational change management plan or another deliverable of a similar, organizational change management focused nature, that you have authored.Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
