An overview of your future role at BBA

  1. Carry out engineering projects based on IEC 61850 standards for digital power systems.
  2. Play various roles, such as project leader and proposal leader.
  3. Prepare competitive and value-added proposals.
  4. Design protection diagrams (logic and control diagrams).
  5. Design substation HMI/SCADA architecture and configuration.
  6. Configure smart electronic devices (relays, substation controllers, etc.).
  7. Direct testing at BBA’s digital power systems lab.
  8. Commission digital power systems.

Overview Of Certifications And Job Requirements

  3. Available to travel to BBA's office across Canada.
  4. Available for short- and long-term assignments at client sites across Canada.
  5. Asset: Bilingual (English and French).
  6. Knowledge of substation technology.
  7. Knowledge of how to configure protection relays.
  8. Asset: knowledge of the IEC 61850 standard.
  9. Asset: Knowledge of how to configure HMI/SCADA systems.
  10. Asset: Knowledge of test equipment for protection relays.
  11. Asset: graduate degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
