Area Associate Clinical Oncology Specialist

Location The territory for this role includes key regions across the Southeast, specifically Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas. The ideal candidate must reside within the territory (ideally Orlando or Atlanta) and be willing to travel throughout the assigned region. Position Summary The Area Associate Clinical Oncology Specialist (ACOS) is responsible for account sales, service, and support activities of all Oncology products within a temporarily assigned geography within their Area which is vacant and in need of support for an extended period of time. The individual will sell the full suite of Natera’s Oncology products, support Clinical Oncology Specialists (COS) or vacant geographies, increase revenue and drive market development through direct interaction with individual accounts and caregivers in the oncology continuum of care. Responsibilities include travel for cultivating and maintaining key relationships, working with customers and internal partners to solve the key issues of the day, and executing a strategic business plan to grow unit volumes. Primary Responsibilities Become product experts on all Natera Oncology products and processes to maximize effectiveness in the field. Travel to temporarily vacant geographies within an Area/Region to ensure continuity of customer support and business pull through. Increase unit volumes in existing accounts with a heavy emphasis in managing order renewals, draw pull through, driving new patients with existing customers & closing new physicians within said account. Take the lead in resolving Missing Information (MI) while partnering with assigned COS to achieve territory Missing Information (MI) goal, sell, maintain & support existing customers. Focus on Pathology to assist in obtaining alternate pathology reports, expedite block shipment, stock kits, and provide top level customer service to our pathology partners. Assess the needs of medical professionals and staff members with a focus on customer support, coordination of logistics, and problem solving. Promote quality client/patient relations and create a supportive climate by serving as a role model for other employees. Respect and maintain the confidentiality of laboratory and financial information. Practice and adhere to all company policies and regulations. Follow Compliance procedures and participates in Compliance training. Perform miscellaneous duties with completion in a designated time frame. Communicate with Natera staff and its customers to ensure quality. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of sales experience or Clinical support/Caregiver experience such as OCN or other. Background in medical or biological sciences is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales goals. Award winning sales professional due to individual achievements. Exceptionally bright, flexible, self-motivated, and results oriented with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically. Must act with a sense of urgency. Have a strong desire to work in a fast-pace environment and must work independently with an internal drive to be successful. Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to effectively present to both internal and external customers. Effective time management skills required with a demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize. Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; Gmail; Sales Force.com. Physical Demands And Work Environment Duties are typically performed in a medical office or hospital setting. This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone and read printed material. Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) at times. 75%-100% travel required. We offer a competitive base salary, uncapped quarterly commissions, a car allowance, and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), which represent company shares granted over time as part of your long-term incentive plan. The compensation package listed is for 1st year OTE, which are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. On-target earnings (OTE) represent the total potential income an employee can earn by achieving 100% of their performance goals. It combines a base salary with commissions and serves as an estimated figure rather than a guaranteed amount, providing a guideline based on average performance outcomes.
