As part of our team you will have exposure to a wide range of clients and industries, with a focus on meeting our client’s needs in an efficient and friendly manner. You will have responsibility for the completion of files individually and as part of a team, working directly for partners. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work well with minimal supervision and balance multiple tasks and files.ResponsibilitiesPreparation of compilation engagements and financial statements for clients in a variety of industriesPreparation of personal, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returnsPreparation of tax compliance and information filings including T4, T5, EHT, HST and WSIB filingsEnsuring that all audit and accounting issues are properly identified and resolved in a timely mannerDirectly working with clients to co‑coordinate the efficient completion of engagements, request necessary information, and review accounting transactionsCorrespondence with CRA regarding corporate, personal, payroll, and sales tax issuesEffectively communicating with the team, clients, and relevant government agenciesQualificationsUniversity degree with a specialization in accounting/finance2+ years practical experience in a mid‑sized public accounting firmExperience with Caseware / Caseview / Taxprep / Quickbooks is preferred.Supplemental PayCommission PayBenefitsCasual dressCompany eventsExtended health careWork from homeExperience2 years accounting (preferred)Job TypeFull-time, PermanentSeniority LevelEntry levelJob FunctionAccounting/Auditing and FinanceIndustriesAccountingWork LocationHybrid remote in Toronto, ON #J-18808-Ljbffr
