Accounts Payable Analyst

Our client will like to bring an Accounts Payable Analyst on board Within the Accounts Payable area, this includes significant process, reporting, technology, and people initiatives. To support the objectives and timelines the team is looking to add experienced, change-savvy people. - Working in and/or leading teams in an Accounts Payable function undergoing significant change; - Leading staff/teams in a unionized environment; - Undertaking analytics-based problem identification and resolution; - Leading/supporting the adoption of new processes; - Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve queries; - Building / preparing reports for management (including senior Finance leadership); - Understanding / articulating leading practices in AP (e.g. processes, metrics, reporting); **Other Requirements**: - Extensive working knowledge of SAP ( >5 years hands-on experience preferred) including; - All areas of FI/CO Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, payment processing, vendor master management, account reconciliations, etc; - Reporting and Analytics, including the ability to create ad-hoc reports/data pulls; - Procurement (PO/Req) and Receiving - specifically experience both in the identification(technical SAP knowledge) and resolution (working with procurement and receiving teams)in the resolution of AP invoice processing issues; - Strong, demonstrated capability with Microsoft Excel, including creation and manipulation of large data sets for reporting and/or analytics; - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Proactive, organizational, and time management capabilities **Job Type**: Fixed term contract Contract length: 9 months **Salary**: $20.50-$30.50 per hour COVID-19 considerations: Yes
