The role includes participating in engineering tasks, technology selection, project execution, and maintaining client relationships.Key responsibilities include:Writing technical reportsLeading design and specifications based on guidelinesPerforming design calculations and ensuring compliance with codesPreparing material lists and bills of ladingRecommending standards and practical applicationsCoordinating and reviewing work of team membersEnsuring project budgets, schedules, and procedures are metPlanning and leading projectsAssisting in proposal drafting and system troubleshootingQualifications include:University degree in mechanical engineering and membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du QuébecAt least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in heavy industrial projectsAvailability for short-term work assignments between Sept-Îles and Labrador CityASP Construction cardProficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NavisworksAssets: experience in mining, petrochemicals, energy; knowledge of SmartPlant 3D, CADWorx, ANSYS, Fathom; bilingual in English and FrenchBenefits include competitive salary, premiums, insurance, retirement plan, vacation, and more.
