We are entrepreneurial-minded organization that welcomes and support individual idea and strategies. We are looking for a Release Manager to join our IT Development Team. A Release Manager responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases or product launches within an organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as development, quality assurance, product management, and operations, to plan and schedule software releases. Also, define release scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Manage the release process by coordinating tasks and activities across teams involved in the release.
  • Organize meetings, tracking dependencies, and ensuring alignment between different teams.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks or issues that may arise during the release process. Proactively assess risks, developing contingency plans, and addressing issues that may impact the release schedule or quality.
  • Create and maintain release documentation, including release notes, deployment instructions, and any necessary technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that appropriate testing and quality control measures are in place throughout the release process. Review test plans, monitor test results, and coordinate bug fixes or issue resolution.
  • Oversee the actual deployment of software or product updates into production environments.
  • Coordinate with operations teams, monitoring the release progress, and ensuring successful deployment with minimal disruption to end-users.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the release management process.
  • Evaluate tools and technologies, implementing automation, and optimizing release workflows to increase efficiency and reliability.
  • Facilitate effective communication between different stakeholders, such as development teams, product managers, business owners, and customers.
     

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in computer science or relevant education
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in IT industry, software development, and complex systems integration using various technologies.
  • Must have strong technical background and experience working with Microsoft technologies.
  • Should have strong technical knowledge of current and emerging IT trends, systems, applications, protocols, and standards.
  • Experience working with outsourced service providers and launching and scaling new processes at service providers.
  • Good team player able to handle conflict in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience of delivering projects on time and within budgets
  • Strong and proven project management skills
  • Experience with facilitating business requirements workshops and writing comprehensive business requirements documents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strengths in meeting objectives through influence, facilitation, and team building.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate team members in a cross functional environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
