li>Manages a highly specialized technical function/teams.Develop, validate, and launch all new products for Masco Canada operations by ensuring they meet the highest safety, quality, and product standards.Responsible for all engineering-related functions for Masco Canada Products from cradle to grave, including but not limited to:
Value Engineering
Warranty and Quality Support for existing products
Engineering Change Management for existing products
Review of detail design drawings, DFMEAs, test plans, and test instructions to ensure design and standards protocol are followed
Review all project technical specifications and business plans for content and accuracy
Identify project risks and aid in action plans to reduce risk
Manage pipeline of value engineering idea templates from generation through implementation: assigning resources, assessing technical issues, planning execution, removing obstacles, prioritizing, achieving cross-function participation/support
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering
