Our purpose is to create value with our partners by delivering Canadian energy.We are actively recruiting for a 12 to 18 month temporary Head of Regulatory. This role is reporting to the Senior Vice President, Corporate Services & Chief Legal Officer and provides strategic regulatory guidance to our operating groups while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in daily operations and projects. This role will also oversee the development of our management and assurance system, and documenting processes to manage regulatory compliance. In addition, collaboration with internal teams, including Indigenous and Community Relations, Land, Government Relations, Operations, Commercial and others is essential for aligning operational activities with regulatory responsibilities.Develop regulatory strategies for federal and provincial project approvals, assessing risks and mitigants, while collaborating with NorthRiver’s teams.Lead multi-disciplinary teams in preparing regulatory filings, reviewing applications, and responding to stakeholder inquiries.Provide guidance during regulatory proceedings and public hearings, including witness support.Liaise with government, regulatory officials, Indigenous and local communities to support applications.Oversee the drafting of regulatory filings and compliance conditions from agencies.Assist with due diligence for asset, share, and joint venture transactions.Engage in regulatory consultations and industry forums to influence policy and stay informed.Communicate regulatory developments within NorthRiver and advise on required regulatory approvals and anticipated timeframes.Lead and coach the Regulatory team for skill development and success.Knowledge of federal and provincial regulatory requirements.Resourcefulness in interpreting policy.Leadership experience is an asset.Knowledge of British Columbia's regulatory requirements, especially with the BC Energy Regulator, is beneficial.The above profile is intended to describe the general content of, and requirements for, the performance of this job. p>At NorthRiver Midstream, we embrace a culture of diversity and inclusion with equal access to opportunities based on individual merit by creating an environment which encourages all employees to contribute their unique capabilities and perspectives.Job Type: Fixed term contractContract length: li>Monday to Friday
