Click here to apply online This position is to primarily provide support of development and production Middleware infrastructure using Tibco technology at a senior level. Ensure quality design and implementation of new Tibco Middleware based projects. Further, the position entails the assurance that Middleware projects are delivered in a consistent, efficient, and timely fashion, as well as contribute to the on-going efforts of IT to maintain high system availability and optimum performance of Tibco Middleware platforms. Other responsibilities will include support of company’s portfolio of middleware products in addition to Tibco. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities Support, administer and maintain Tibco Middleware projects running on Solaris platforms Responsible for maintaining defined operating procedures for the day to day operations of Tibco infrastructure Provide 2nd level support for Tibco ESB platforms Configure and maintain Tibco ESB monitoring Administer Tibco ESB security Trouble‑shoot Tibco infrastructure problems of various levels of magnitude in timely fashion Support Tibco development efforts, including some design, construction, implementation, and support of SOA based services on Tibco ESB platforms such as event handling services, logging services, security services, transaction mgmt services, archiving services, replay services Move configurations between development, QA, and production environments Evaluate and perform Tibco hot‑fixes/patches/upgrades Provide capacity planning for Tibco ESB platforms Remain aware of latest Tibco versions, new product capabilities, set up and installation requirements and base product functionality Provide support and trouble‑shoot Tibco database adapters for SQLServer and Oracle Provide support and trouble‑shoot Tibco market adapters Plan/rehearse Tibco ESB platform disaster recovery and failover plans Author/support corresponding UNIX/Perl scripts Responsible for developing/co‑coordinating/supporting system implementation notices for Tibco project/Tibco ESB changes Responsible for providing on‑call support on rotational basis Maintain FTP gateways, ensuring all security mechanisms are in place and operational Provide problem resolution following ITIL incident mgmt principles through use of Remedy‑based trouble ticketing system At a secondary level, provide support of BPM product: Saviion At a secondary level, provide support of BMC monitoring tool: Patrol, as well as BMC job‑control tool: Control‑M At a secondary level, provide support of Weblogic Qualifications University degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related Strong interpersonal, analytical and technical trouble‑shooting skills Strong verbal, written communication skills and team player attitude is essential Minimum 2‑3 years relevant work experience using Tibco components: Business Works, EMS, Hawk, and Rendezvous Demonstrated experience in designing, constructing, and supporting Tibco based SOA services, namely event handling services, logging services, security services, transaction mgmt services, archiving services, replay services Some experience with integrating Tibco with Oracle and Sqlserver databases Experience with UML tool mandatory Some experience with UNIX scripting on SUN Solaris/HP‑UX platforms required Experience with XML/XSD/XSLT/XPATH mandatory Experience with Java/J2EE, C/C++, JavaScript, .NET (Visual Basic/C#) desirable Experience administering PGP encryption, as well as using SSH, SSL Demonstrated experience in working in IT environments having set incident and change management processes required Working experience with 3rd party Remedy tool as vehicle for incident management is a definite plus Working experience with BMC Patrol and BMC Control‑M highly desirable Knowledge/experience with ERWin modeling software an asset Knowledge/some experience with EMC SANs would be beneficial Knowledge/some experience with BPM Savvion tools highly desirable Click here to apply online If you're not interested, but know someone who is, please help a current or former colleague in their career development by referring them.
