About the job As a Senior Research and Evaluation Advisor, you will: guide research activities, data management and evaluation strategies lead the creation and implementation of evaluation frameworks and apply research results to improve programs and develop recommendations establish working relationships with internal and external groups to coordinate activities and deliver on projects provide oversight and leadership on the team's research and evaluation portfolio engage in onsite visits, conferences and support planning of events such the annual STEM Equity event work on key tasks, including visitor satisfaction surveys, developing an evaluation framework and research strategy, mapping of KPIs and annual business planning and reporting What you bring to the team Technical skills knowledge of program evaluation models and methods, including logic models, theory of change, evaluation instruments, sampling design, statistical and qualitative analysis professional evaluation competencies to lead and guide the development of strategic evaluation frameworks knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analysis including data management, relevant computer applications, developing frameworks and KPIs, and research and evaluation methods to perform studies and analyze results Project management skills knowledge of project management techniques, tools and software Leadership and interpersonal skills use your consultation and relationship management skills to build and maintain working relationships give advice and briefings to senior management and external audiences lead and persuade others to foster consensus building and represent the Ontario Science Centre's interests Written and oral communication skills prepare reports, submissions, correspondence and presentations build relationships and contribute to/lead project teams create consensus and make recommendations Don't meet every qualification?
