We currently have an engaging opportunity for a SURVEY STUDENT. Did you know? Since January 2024, J.D. Irving, Limited has committed to reimbursing the co‑op fee for students completing their work term with the company up to $1,000. NOTE: Applications for both co‑op and non‑co‑op students will be accepted Responsibilities Assist in conducting land, environmental, or infrastructure surveys. Operate and maintain survey equipment such as GPS units, total stations, and data collectors. Record and organize field data accurately and efficiently. Assist in preparing survey reports, maps, and documentation. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Learn and adhere to company policies and industry standards. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program in Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering. Basic understanding of surveying principles and equipment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational skills with strict attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated safety awareness and orientation. Ability to multi‑task, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
